Here's the exclusive first look at what the new Avengers movie billboard could look like. This is the first image of Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) together as they might look in Marvel's upcoming Avengers movie to be released in 2012 after each of their solo outings. The mocked-up billboard also features the Incredible Hulk.

So there you have it. What do you think? Do these look like Earth's Mightiest Heroes to you? It certainly whets my appetite for the next two years of Marvel superhero movie installments! The Avengers will be directed by Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and is due for release in 2012. In 2011, we will first see Chris Hemsworth weald Mjolnir as the mighty Thor and Chris Evans take up his star spangled shield as Captain America. The two will then assemble as The Avengers with Iron Man close to the release of Iron Man 3 in 2012. A lot of the cast is still rumoured but I think it's safe to say the film will star Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., Edward Norton, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth.
