Desk Lamp Becomes Tony Stark's Clumsy Robot

Previously, I posted about a guy who created his very own J.A.R.V.I.S. artificial intelligence to help around the house (and possibly take over the world). Now we have some further Iron Man-inspired inginuity with Natan Linder from MIT combining a Pico-projector, camera, and wireless computer into a robotic arm called LuminAR.

So what can it do?

Besides being able to screw a lightbulb and power itself, it can project a computer display onto any surface and recognize hand movements well enough to project a usable keyboard. It can also wirelessly communicate with other computers and smart phones. All that actually makes it better than what Tony Stark has, which can only recognise voice commands, an arse of things and squirt a fire extinguisher... but then Stark does have that cool suit of his.
