Real Spider-Boy Builds Climbing Machine

After news broke the other day about the real-life Catwoman, it wouldn't be long before real-life superheroes started to emerge and the world would turn into one big comic book with Stan Lee as Divine Emperor. We've already had a few false starts with the HULC armour, homemade gadgets and some seriously dodgy cosplay. He might not be up for catching thieves just like flies but the effort still has to be applauded. While his friends spent their design classes making DVD racks and electronic dice, 13-year-old Hibiki Kono from King's College School, Cambridge, was busy turning himself into Spider-Boy.

Using two Tesco Value vacuum cleaners and some wood, Kono made a machine to climb sheer walls.

Kono said, "I used to dress up as Spider-Man when I was younger and I love all the films so it's great to be able to climb walls like him. I've climbed up the school wall but I'm not allowed too high"
Congratulations, Kono, Uncle Ben would be proud. I've also got to praise the technology teacher, who says he encouraged the project. Teachers are there to inspire kids to fulfil their dreams.

With great power, comes great suction.

Can you come and do my flat?
