Super Valentines

I know, it's still three weeks away but I've learned you must be prepared with these things! So, my fellow geeks, how about one of these for your special female sidekick?

Superhero Aprons from Bethany Sew-and-Sew:
Bethany creates custom aprons inspired by Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl, Green Lantern, Flash and more. There's something wonderfully churlish about a Wonder Woman kitchen apron, don't you think? Bethany also takes commissions so if you've got an idea, she'll make it for you. How about a Suffragette apron? Or one with Germaine Greer's face on it? Prices range from $35-$50 + shipping. I have a feelings she's about to get a cease and desist from DC's lawyers...

Not the domestic Amazon goddess type? How about...

DC Superhero Jewellery:
Aussie jeweller, Guild Jewellery Design, has spotted a gap in the market and is about to launch a range of official DC character jewellery including rings, pendants, charms, "necklets" and earrings. Apparently, to avoid looking like cheap tat, they're sterling silver plus a bit of coloured resin. Does it work for you?

Wow, I'm glad I'm the geek!
