Thanks for checking out Must... use.. POWERS! This is my blog about comics, superheroes and anything else related. I've been reading comics on and off since I was around 9 borrowing my brother's Batman comics and having my brain frazzled by Crisis on Infinite Earths. I really started getting into comics and buying my own about ten years ago when I bought Ultimate X-Men Vol. 1. I first decided to start a blog as a bit of an experiment, as a means to express myself and to share some of the things I thought were cool. It's not just my slant that makes MUP different. The other comics sites out there have writers far more knowledgable than I could ever be and they often assume the same level of enthusiasm and knowledge in their readers. I have a relatively small comic collection (not that my friends who've seen it would believe), I don't read a particular series religiously, I'm just looking for a good story. If you're just looking for a good story, then maybe this is the place for you too. The dream for MUP is to provide a unique and interesting angle on the comic-book and superhero world; not just to regurgitate news but to make it interesting and give it a spin. Think of it as an "entry-level" comics blog. If you just want pure news, there are plenty of better blogs for that. If you want a reaction, some fun, and something different, hopefully you're in the right place. It's all about the angle. I'm opinionated, imbalanced and flawed but enjoying it and I hope you will too.
